Technical Service Engineer
Maritime Division
Job type: Full-time
The Service Engineer:
-
Analyzes and tends to equipment machinery;
-
Conducts tests or visual inspection on condition of goods upon arrival of shipment;
-
Makes detailed report on the activities he made, i.e. changes he made, schedule of the machine to be serviced, etc.; and
-
Visits clients or remote locations to resolve or perform maintenance functions.
Preferably with Technical and Product Training on:
-
Communication – VHF, SSB, Handheld, Loudhailer, INMARSAT, Radio Room Survey, VDR survey and Testing, etc.;
-
Navigation – Radar, ECDIS, GYRO, AUTOPILOT, etc.;
-
Others – EPIRB, SART, PABX/telephone system, intercom, battery system, etc.;
-
GMDSS; and
-
GOC.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree holder - Electronics & Communications Engg. or Marine Engineering
-
Min. 2 years experience handling Maritime navigation and communication equipment (Furuno, Sperry, Raytheon, Cobham, etc.) diagnosis & repair
-
Excellent communication skills (for reporting and coordination with ship owners)

Willing to travel the Philippines for service jobs

Computer proficient
